Current ready-to-play build with launcher and automatic updates. No extra patch is required for a new installation.

Close the game and launcher completely, then extract the patch into the client root folder and replace existing files.

New installation

  1. Download the full client archive.
  2. Extract it completely into a new folder. Do not run the game from inside the archive.
  3. Open LauncherPreview and run OpenMU.Launcher.exe.
  4. Wait for file verification, then start the game.
  5. Always start through the launcher, not Main.exe directly.

Update an installed client

  1. Close the game and old launcher completely.
  2. Back up the client folder.
  3. Extract the R32 patch into the client root next to Main.exe and replace files.
  4. Run LauncherPreview\OpenMU.Launcher.exe and wait for verification.
  5. After verification, always start through this launcher.

If the client does not start

Download the archive again and extract the full client into a new folder. Check antivirus quarantine and Windows file properties. Do not disable Windows protection completely.
